I didn't think it would be hard to tell Jim Brandt and I apart, but apparently it was a problem at YAPC::NA this year. Jim and I got together to make a short instructional video on telling us apart.

The audio is totally out of sync for the blooopers though.

But I am dying anyway.

Is it out of sync in the original, or just Vimeo's flash version. Vimeo allows you to download the original file too. It plays fine for me, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a problem for other people.

I'll upload the Making Of separately tonight.

I'm lookin', but I don't see a way to download the original on that page.

Well, damn. It looks like you have to sign up with Vimeo to get the originals. It is free though.

I mostly want something where I don't have to pay for bandwidth.

I've split the video into two videos. Apparently Vimeo has transcoding issues.

I'll also make a new "Video" section on my personal web page to keep track of some of this in case the URLs change again.

I wish I saw this a few years ago. That whole time the three of us were having beers in Toronto, I had no idea who was who. In my head, I kept track by thinking Thing 1 and Thing 2.
