Perlcast on TiVo

I just discovered that my TiVo knows about RSS feeds, and I can set it up to listen to podcasts (look under "Music, Photos, Products, and more" from the main menu, then find the Podcaster menu item). On the screen is the Camel with Headphones Perlcast logo, and I'm listening to Josh's interview with Steve Oualline. Very cool, especially since there's nothing on at 3 am.

Apparently I can also link to various Yahoo! services and a bunch of other internet stuff. Everyone else probably already knows this, though.

But try to pause

I have not used it much but when I did I was really turned off by not being able to pause.
Do you subscribe to Rocketboom? I don't always love the show but I love the idea of having web content and broadcast content mixed.

I subscribe to Rocketboom via TiVo, but I generally have seen it on my laptop long before I see it on the TiVo.

So it's mostly a subscription that gets completely deleted by the time I get back to the house after a trip.

Then why do I subscribe? Because I believe in the concept, and hope that my subscription counts as a vote toward "more of this, please".
