Philippe translated my guide to solving any Perl problem into french for Linux Dossiers 2, avril/mai/juin 2004. I think this is my first article that has an independent translation. That's cool.
Oddly enough, this guide is also popular on Perlmonks.
I've always seen this article more of a rant than anything else, but I guess people like it. :)
The French Perl Mongers have a very good relationship with the magazine: we started by publishing a seven part introduction to Perl in July 2002.
Since then, we've been publishing at least one article a month on topics such as Gtk, Tk, e-mail modules, LWP, LDAP, etc. There are also reports on the various Perl conferences we attend. A few months ago, I started short monthly column with "Perl tricks" called Perles de Mongueurs . Our superb logo was first used for the dossier.
The best part is that all the articles appear on our article website a few months later, with a good-looking style (in my opinion).
This has done a lot for the reputation of Les Mongueurs de Perl in France, I think.
