TPR 1.1 put to bed, in the can, done, finito, &c.

It always seems darkest right before the dawn. Two days ago I thought we were going to be in really big trouble with the current issue, but we pulled it together for the December 1 deadline.

It's really a huge adrenaline rush, even though I'm not an adrenaline junkie. Once I mark the thing as final, send it to the printer, and upload it to the website, there's really no turning back. People are going to see.

We've made a big leap forward. Eric Maki designed a new look, and it's orders of magnitude better than what I was doign before. We used InDesign, which was easy peasy compared to LaTeX, and a lot easier than I remember from Frame and PageMaker.

Subscribers can download it immediately: you should be getting email with instructions very shortly. If you don't, email me and I'll sort it out. People who subscribe now should immediately get an email with instructions on downloading this (and the last) issue.

Any idea when we'll get the print copies of the latest edition?

They go in the mail next week. It's at the printer right now.
