I seem to remember someone had this really ambitious (and recent) project to track all sorts of numbers about CPAN, and that it had it's own host name.
Anyone have an idea what I'm thinking about? Where is that or who was working on it?

Um, found it. It's not just CPAN stats: it includes other things, and I remember it because it's a reply to my post on
Leading Perl Indicators.
