I'm back

I am only a couple of days from getting all the way home to Chicago, but I am rotting away in a crappy hotel room in Rhode Island as the Army figures out what it is doing.

I have high-speed wireless access, so I can update my minicpan, CVS working copies, and all sorts of other things, including a lot of old versions that clutter my CPAN directory (especially when the new versions are cluttering someone else's directory).

Now I just have to sort things out. The big thing on my mind is The Perl Review, and if I can get a print version to show up before OSCON. I think I can do that if I can line up the printer quickly, which I think will be the bottleneck.

YAPC!

And if you could get one out before YAPC::NA, that would be even sweeter!

Glad you're back,

I don't think there is much chance of me getting something done before YAPC unless I go with previously published articles. I have thought of doing that as a way to try out the printing process for the first time, but I also do not know if it is worth it to use that money for articles people have already seen.

Welcome to New England!

Welcome back!

There are far worse places to be than Rhode Island, even if it isn't Chicago. Try to stay above the flood waters though.
