Also, the day you left (or the next), the Pentagon reversed its plan to steadily decrease the number of troops in Iraq. About 24,000 guys got their return home delayed. Glad you weren't one of them!

Someone forgot to check with my wife before scheduling YAPC. I will probably be deep under some caribbean water during that time.
