In OSUT they were called BCG's.
At the 705th MP Bn, they were called RPG's. For those of you unfamiliar with the acronym, it's "Rape Prevention Glasses". The soldiers of the 705th work in the United States Disciplinary Barracks (or whatever they are calling the DOD's maximum security prision these days).

Yep, I ain't getting any anyway.:)
The BCGs are the only pair of glasses I have ever had that can take the rigors of this environment, and, like a lot of other things, they are tied to me so I can find them easily if they fall off during action.
