I am still around, although I am in a very dull place. However, I got to hook up my Mac to a non-government network. At the moment I am updating my minicpan and CVS repositories.
The connection is a little bit slow, and I am thinking about modifying Randal's minicpan program to use a skipfile so I do not need to update things like Tk, PDL, BioPerl, and other large files. Heck, I could even work it out so it updated some distributions preferentially so I can get the important stuff updated first in case I do not have enough time for a full update.
