I had a perfectly nice post to use.perl, but, as I do in about 10 percent of the cases, I forget that I need to go to the bottom of the preview page and hit "Save".
In summary: I have telnet access, which means onceI get to PANIX I can ssh. This is a good thing and I can take care of some stuff I might have done at home if I did not have a wife or two cats (the trio that is infinitely more enjoyable than Perl or computers on any day).
I am using a 256MB USB memory thinga-ma-jib. It is a long way away from that 40 MB hard drive I was salivating for in college. I coul dhave gone larger, but the $100 price point was my limit.
Okay, let's try this again.
brian,
Many have been bitten by browser gremlins interfering with blog posts. With a little elbow grease, you might be able to use the SOAP journal interface with the text editor of your choice. Once you've got the system in place, I think you'll enjoy it. It opens up the possibilities for scheduling journal entries, offline composition and whatnot. Anyway, I thought this might help you some.
