Why shouldn't I write my own? I noticed LJ::Simple (and why isn't that LiveJournal::Simple?), so a lot of work may already be done.
I need offline editing and a local repository of entries. Xjournal for MacOSX looks like what I want, but I have not been able to download it.
I hate to reinvent stuff, but unless I do that I am stuck with the web page in real time.
