Now that I'm in a "journaling mood", I feel like reporting some stuff from last week, that happened in PerlMonks, before new stuff will be available.
Basically, I had a problem installing a module in my own home with CPAN.pm, and yes, I'm aware that this kind of question gets asked quite often. Yet this seemed to be an actual problem, and in the end it eventually turned out to seem a problem with ExtUtils::AutoInstall.
