p5p, lost in the noise.

Waiting to see if any of the fruits of my weekend punting get accepted. (From the TODO) I like the idea of general generic object management, but any implmentation I've thought of is inelegant. I think switching over to purely IO::Handle would be a good compromise. The only problem is backwards compatability with the old calling style.

Noise ?

WHICH NOISE ?

Hein? I just meant that a lot goes on on p5p
and it seems it's pretty easy for things to
fall through the cracks.

TO FALL THROUGH THE WHAT ?

More seriously, even if you don't have news of your patch in the next few days, this doesn't mean that it fall through the cracks. We keep track of patches. Usually. (BTW -- I noticed, on the subversion developement mailing list, that they have now an official patch tracker guy. Might be a good idea. But they have more regular patch commiters than P5P.)
