The end of mp3.com, part 2

The day before yesterday, I stumbled upon a song by Halo In Reverse (mp3.com home page). They're very reminescent to Nine Inch Nails — or rather, he is, as it appears to be mostly a one man project. Listen to "Modesty's Failure" or "I Machine" for example, if you're curious (only a few days left).

In fact, I like it so much, that I wanted to buy the CD. It's an mp3.com CD, at $9.99 plus postal costs it's a bargain. Only a few days left...? Sigh... mp3.com isn't accepting orders any more.

I fear that with mp3.com gone, more will vanish than just the free mp3's — allegedly, the archive will be saved, and there's a few similar sites out there. But I wonder what will become of the albums that mp3.com has brought out itself. I fear they simply will no longer be available.
