Next Saturday (10th Feb), Steve and I, representing Birmingham.pm, will be travelling to Vienna to do a bit of a ceremonial handover. It'll be the first time I've ever been to Vienna, although I've been to Austria before. I'm really forward to it.
Many years ago my flatmate (she is Austrian) and I watch Before Sunrise, and she was telling all the places she knew. I've been wanting to visit the city ever since.
It'll also be our chance to have a look round the city and get our bearing before YAPC::Europe in August. Thomas has already pointed me in the right direction for a good curry house, so I'll be happy ;) Looking at the tourist sites there is alot to see and do in Vienna, plus there is all the haunts you can check out when they filmed the James Bond film The Living Daylights there :)
