Practice Make Perfect

I finished my slides for my YAPC::Europe talk, so I thought I'd try them out on Nicole. Though she's not technically minded, but she can at least hear whether the talk flows and spot any obvious flaws.

From start to finish it took me 19 minutes, a minute under the 20 minutes I've been alotted. However, I really ought to allow for questions (well you never know), plus the current investigation that I'm doing may end up being included too. So once I've added the suggestions Nicole had, do I send the slides and leave it at that, or update them before the conference with all the new bits. I guess there is no harm in updating them nearer the time, the slides will be online afterwards. It will just mean the printed media Belfast.pm are planning may not be accurate.

Having read Mark's Giving Lightning Talks article and MJD's Conference Presentation Judo slides, I've tried to keep the talk simple and to the point. If people are interested enough they can always harass me later ;)
