Thought I'd have a quick look at London.pm CPAN Leaderboard, and got a surprise:
London.pm contributed :
1601 of 21042 modules (8%)
576 of 5930 packages (10%)
on CPAN
Okay so they really need another 20 packages to truly be 10%, but who really cares :)

Of course, when people first see that board they start quibbling about how exactly certain people on there are members of london.pm when they live in (for example) Australia.
Hopefully I can head off some of that discussion by pointing out that london.pm isn't really a geographical entity - it's more a state of mind
