While I don't like offending anyone, there are times when it seems the only way to get a response. Yesterday I ended up sending an email to our HR department without counting to 10 and thinking of the consequences. It got an understandably quick reaction, but not in the way I had intended. However, it did instigate the response I did want.
It seems a shame that I have to get worked up into a state, where I can offend someone, before anything gets done. As it happens it was a good job I was so abrasive, otherwise my contract would have been null and void had I not kicked up a fuss. This isn't the first time I've had problems with HR here, though I do hope it's the last. It doesn't make for a good working relationship.
