I just found out that Francois Vo, the owner of one of my favorite restaurants, Vo's, has sold the restaurant to new owners, who take over next Monday! And then Francois is moving to California in October.
He's been threatening to sell it for years but I never took him seriously.
It's not just that the food is good (though it is) but Francois is a great guy who knows all his customers and is a lot of fun. He's even sung karaoke for me and some of my friends (he used to be a lounge singer) when the place is slow.
I like the place so much I got married there!
I'm so sad.
