Yesterday we decided to go and enjoy the sunshine down on the beach at Bournemouth. It seemed simple enough, get up, catch train, walk to beach, and come home again.
Owing to all sorts of problems we spent a pleasnt morning on a the platform at Winchester, followed by a squashed hour on a train that was only half the length it should have been. It was overcast most of the day, and our return train was late too...
However the sun did break through just before we left, and we managed to find some Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, so not such a bad day...
