Last week I cloned my first AIX system at work. To my surprise it worked like clockwork first time and all is sweetness and light.
Yesteday I tried to restore our production Infromix/SAP data onto it from SDLT tape. Everything worked correctly, but Informix was not happy some of the DB spaces were inconsistent and it refused to run. I went through the help guide and tried several options and they didn't work, so last night I tried again from scratch, and this morning that didn't work either...
Ho hum...
