Yesterday was the 2005 London Perl Workshop. It was a fun day out and well worth a free "Gold Card" train ticket. Macs were very noticeable, I only spotted one "PC", though the absence of WiFi may have put everyone else off bringing their kit.
One striking thing was that almost everyone used a white/light background for their talk and light coloured backgrounds are not good background colours - they shows every defect in the screen and projector up.
