At work I have a small project, to convert SAP IDOC files into XML files suitable for UPS world ship. SAP use IDOC a lot, and it's based on EDI which is also supposed to be a widely used industry standard.
Last week I had a look on CPAN, then Perlmonks, and finally Google. CPAN brought back an EDIFACT module, and Perlmonks drew a blank. Google brought me a bunch of CVs. I then tried the London.pm, and went home for the weekend.
Nice Mr Cantrell sent me an email with a link to Perlmonks, where someone has posted an almost identical request to mine... with as yet no resolution.
