I needed an image viewer and sorter. I've installed gThumb on one computer, and pornview on another. Both seem to fit the bill, even if my better half didn't like the sound of pornview. Actually Pornview seemed to work quite well, it's simple and organises my very inocent pictures quite well, the only snag being it doesn't close properly, so I'm now trying out kimdaba.
