In a moment of relative calm, I started to work on a web page that needed a change. The old design was done in Dreamweaver, and was a gazillion tables. I replaced it with a hand based design that uses a few divs and a single list. Even after incorporating the improvements I wanted, the overall page size is now half that of the original. It even works in Microsoft's so called browser.
