In Paris

At this very moment I'm in Paris struggling to use my brother in-law's computer avec its strange French keyboard. I don't know how the French ever manage to write programs, all the useful keys are in silly places, and need shift to use.

"Those French... they have a different word for everything!"

I'll be forever unable to use those strange qwerty keyboards... but I must admit that my .vimrc contains cute things like :

The letters don't bother me to much, qwerty or azerty, it's the punctuation marks and other specials that drive be nuts - I could probably get use to the main keyboard without a problem. When I lived in the US, I found US qwerty keyboards highly annoying when compared to UK qwerty keyboards - just because of the specials. I suppose once you have got use to one layout? all the rest seem hard.
