Analog

Just running Analog on a few years of web log files. Not very fast, it has to do a lot of DNS lookups, as at the moment it doesn't have the luxury of a local cache (it's building that as it goes along). It's quite amazing what you see in web log files.

On our low profile box, gets about 50% of it's "hits" from virus infected Windows boxen. IIS is one of the scourges of the earth and should be put out of it's misery. After the automated virus hits, we get a selection of less automated cracking traffic, some robots, and a few actual users. Probably only 5-10% of the traffic in a given day on the box is actual end-users....

awstats might be worth considering. It's fast and scales well.

Interesting. Analog is a LOT faster when it doesn't need to do DNS, but when you do IP to name resolution they all slow down to pittyfully slow. The page doesn't show timings once you have a DNS Cache established, which is a pitty.
