Again I've hit a problem with IE! It's fine with Mozilla and Opera, what we use, but IE isn't happy, and alas it's what most people use. I tried googling for a hack, but there are so many thousand bugs with IE, it's hard to find the actual bug you are looking at. I'm sure it's a well documented problem, I've just not been able to find it yet....
Basically you have a div with an image in it, to the right of another div. On a proper browser, when the image is wider than the width of the view-port you get horizontal scroll-bars. In IE the div and the image move down to the end of the div (where there is no more space, and then you get the scroll bars. The result being that you can see the navigation, but the actual content has shot off the bottom of the screen.
My better half has done a small site for her sister, and the problem is well demonstrated there, if you browse with a smallish screen size. It's here in case anyone is interested: www.iredale.net/enguerrand/.
I'll fix it eventually, it's just another challenge.....
