After the fiasco of my most recent CPAN upload, the tests failed all over the place, and it wouldn't even run the Makfile.PL on 5.8, I've decided to develop and then upload, rather than develop, wait, develop a bit more, wait and finally upload. Even if I only upload developer releases, it's easier to test at work, where I have quite a different environment and where I can spot this kind of problem more easily.

The current version of XML::RSS::Tools is 0.12, and it's the same module as 0.11, but with a fixed build and test process.

The next version 0.13, will have more removed than added I hope. The module is getting a bit heavy, so I'm going through it to remove anything that it doesn't need. I'm also going to convert the supplementary documentation from HTML to POD, which should save quite a few bytes too.

Nice day here in southern England, I can hear the lawn crying out to be mowed....

Nice day?

I beg to differ! Down here in sunny Brighton, it's starting to cloud over already.

Of course, I had to sacrifice myself to the god of pagers for a couple of hours this morning, so I could just be a grumpy bastard. :-)

Go on spoil my fun!

I'm just on the otherside of the hills to the north of you in Hampshire. So we usually get the weather a few hours later.....
