Today we went to see the May Day celebrations in the village. It was rather pathetic, a very sick looking Maypole, a few very bored kids, and a 10m duck race - though we didn't actually see the ducks. Did I also mention it was in the middle of no where, not the rather cute and very under used village square at the centre of the village.
