Well, we made it to Munich. Somehow I got roped in to lead the London.pm people all the way into town, which was a little crazy but we made it. The hotel is small, but quite nice, and just off Marienplatz right in the center of town. We recovered for a little bit and then I dragged them off to Viktualienmarkt, which is a nice market with a beer garden in the middle. Sun, olives, pretzels, sausages and beer. People joined us, people left, but we basically stayed there all afternoon until we met up with about 50 people at the Augustiner and ate bits of grilled meat, talked German, and drank more beer. A good start to the conference, I think...
