After a bit of hotel wrangling, I'm here in Copenhagen at YAPC::Europe 2008. It's really sunny here, which is a nice surprise as the forecast for the week was rain, rain, rain. We even had lunch in the sun. The venue is the Copenhagen Business School which is nice and large. The first order of the day was to announce that YAPC::Europe 2009 would be in Lisbon. Then the conference proper started, with four tracks in parallel. All the talks are very interesting and as usual the best bit is the hallway track, chatting with friends old and new.
