I was reading the Sunday Times magazine in the sun in Greenwich Park yesterday and came across a pair of articles on how the home of 2020 (hmm, it doesn't say 2020 on the online versions) will be: Houses just got smarter and Buying into the future. I know I should ignore a lifestyle article which is basically an advert for a "Home" show, but thousands of pounds to have radio piped into multiple rooms? What someone should invent is a portable radio receiver. Anyway, I've decided to redistribute the future a bit and add more useful technology to my flat. Step one: lasers!
