What an excellent conference. It was really nice being a block from the venue and Birmingham has lots of art and culture and beautiful canals. Many thanks to all organisers, and many thanks to Best Practical for informally sponsoring a few drinks too. The auction at the end of the conference was great: the final auction piece being the hair style of next year's conference organisers. We split up into different groups. I went for the "Dreadlocks" group (domm has dreadlocks already but the other organisers do not), but was eventually tempted to the "Pink Mohawk" group once they had changed their name to the "Orange Mohawk" group. All the money will be put to good use for Birmingham.pm, TPF and the next YAPC. Fabulous!
