The final day and getting up in the morning was getting quite hard. The first talk of the third day was on Plagger (poor Tatsuhiko!). It was an excellent talk, giving a good background to Plagger and what it can do - even aggregate recipes apparently!
After a quick CPANTS recap and AJAX overview and into Jos' "Barely Legal XXX Perl", which was totally excellent in every possible way. Smylers' "Interviewing Perl Programmers" covered lots of bases and was a bit overly corporate and then Karen confused us programmers with the nice wiki she'd found.
A tasty La Reine pizza later and the lightning talks. They were all great! Except Philippe's, which was terrible: ggrrrrrrrrrrrrr! ;-)
Many thanks to the organisers!
Only “a bit” corporate? Oh. I'd been aiming for ludicrously over-the-top Broken-News-esque self-mocking corporate.
Maybe next time I'll have to include flashing or something. (Erm, images flashing, I mean; not me flashing. That wouldn't be very corporate at all.)
