eBayDevCon happened last weekend and they have very kindly made the slides for most of their presentation available. Remember that Skype was bought by eBay last year for $2.6 billion? I found the following Skype presentations quite interesting: Servers and Plugins: The Future of the Skype API (PDF) and The Skype Application to Application Messaging API (App2App) (PDF). I'm very suprised as to how many people use Skype thesedays: ask around and you'll find out that many non-geeks use it all the time. Has the time come for applications to use Skype too?
