Amazon is normally an excellent website. I often one-click things that I want on there and its recommendation system is often very accurate. I just bought a lovely Samsung LCD TV. This is a rare, one-off purchase for me. My old TV is 15 years old! Amazon's recommendation system, however, reckons I want to buy more and displays no less than five LCD TVs on the homepage. Um, no?
Sounds like the furniture store where I bought my two couches when I first got my house. I spent $300 on a set on clearance. Immediately they started mailing me furniture ads. Um, hello? I just bought this stuff. I'm not ready to replace it, thank you.
