Distributed hash tables are so Internet 2.0 thesedays. Building, deploying and maintaining a DHT for test purposes is a pain, so Open DHT provides a publicly accessible DHT service hosted on PlanetLab with a very simple interface. Thanks, I hadn't heard of any of these projects before...and the conceptual link to the new trackerless bittorrent. One nit: I just downloaded Net::OpenDHT and noticed that XML::LibXML is missing from the Makefile.PL dependencies.
