I'm in Pisa, Italy for the Italian Perl Workshop. I arrived late last night and somehow stumbled through town into the palace that is my hotel. This morning I got up early, did a quick tour through town (yes, the tower is leaning) and arrived while the organisers were still setting up. Many thanks to them for producing a special orange tshirt for me! It's pretty small (about 50 people) but the talks are all interesting and quite practical. We escaped for a pizza and beer at lunchtime.
I've just finished my talk on Perl Development. It's so nice and warm here. I could murder a cold beer...
