Does anyone have any experience with Tarantella? I'm interested in some opinions.

With the musical quote about Fandango, I was all set to answer yes about the Tanantella. An international dance performance group I was in (quite a while ago now) did an Italian Suite that included a number of Tarantellas. (Toronto was a one point the second-largest Italian-speaking city in the world, yet our group was the only Italian dance performance group and contained no people from an Italian background.)
I've danced the English country dance Fandango much more recently, but that's equally orthogonal to your real question.
