"Gimme a ticket for an aeroplane
Ain't got time to take a fast train
Lonely days are gone, I'm a-goin' home
'Cause my baby just a-wrote me a letter"
-- The Boxtops

Slashdot is running a story on a Microsoft project in which the sender may have to pay to send email.

The real question, of course, is who will be paid?
