I used to enjoy watching sports. For some reason I lost interest about 10 years ago. (No, not because of marriage or any such: my wife enjoyed them equally.) For reasons equally unclear to me, I started getting interested in baseball again this summer.
Boy, did I pick the right year. Both the Dodgers and the Angels had a great season, although the Dodgers missed the division series by the narrowest of margins. And the Angels are in the World Series for the first time ever. The last game of the ALCS was one of the most exciting games I've seen in a while. If San Francisco wins the National League, it could be an all-California series.
I can't believe I just wrote that, but I'm really looking forward to it. ;-)
