Today our Sun crossed the celestial equator, making it the first day of Spring in the northern hemisphere. That also marks the beginning of the year in the Persian calendar. Makes a lot more sense to me than starting the year in the dead of winter.
So it's time to clean house, recharge my batteries, and mix any other metaphors I can think of. A few fun projects I'd started on have been languishing, and I want to get going on them again. Matts's journal had an interesting thought about writing games in Perl. Of course, the trick is to come up with something fun to play. Maybe yet another solitaire engine, like PySol, or AisleRiot. (Funny, I can't find AisleRiot in the Gnome pages anymore. Did they drop it?)
My client asked for more time in the next couple of months, so I'm again going from too much free time to too little. Eh, I'd rather have too much to do than too little, I think.
