New summaries and perl.com

Hm, Perl.com hasn't had a new article posted since September 8, almost two weeks ago. Being September, I suppose everyone's busy with @real_life.

It's nice to have the "This week in Perl5-porters" summaries here. Sometimes I tend to forget the ongoing P5 development.

We usually publish on Thursdays. The most recent new article was Matt Sergeant's Using Qpsmtpd. For various uninteresting reasons, we didn't get a tile up for that, but it is on the front page (and even though it says "Sysadmin", it's a Perl.com article -- we're experimenting with article classification).

We're doing something a little bit different with the summaries, but the last one covered three weeks and I was out on vacation, so I wasn't available to do the currently-manual process of publishing the new blurbs. It's on my list to fix that, as well as to publish links to the p5p summaries.
