Travel and bad timing

I'm transitioning between client projects, which is never an easy time. Today I had to fly out-of-state to "setting client" (as opposed to "rising client") to get copies of stuff that I needed. I'm flying back the same day because "rising client" needs me tomorrow.

Just my luck, the client's internal network failed in the afternoon, so I got maybe 10% of the way towards what I needed. Telecom is scrambling, and everybody at the client is having problems. Just bad timing to fly today.

Now I find the second leg of my return flight's been delayed an hour. But the first leg is on time, so I can't just wait here at the client office: I have to go wait at the airport.

"I should'a stayed in bed."

Update
The delay was actually 2.5 hours.... As a friend commented later, "[Delays] seem to be especially bad when you have nothing to show for the trip."
