I wrapped up at my last client Friday and relaxed over the weekend. With so little time left before the holidays, I decided I'd take some time off before I look for work again. So here I am, going thru my mundane-yet-important list. "Clean office", "Organize tax docs", and so on.
Today I got in touch with an old work associate, and I'm joining him on a sales call Thursday. We'll see how it goes.
In the meantime, I'm volunteering at my kids' school to help with their new library/media center. They received a bunch of Macs with OS X, so it's my chance to play with them while helping the school. I have some geeky projects lined up -- I think I'm going to try building Linux from scrach, just for grins. And of course I'll see what's new on the monastery's to-do list.
Life is good.
