It's been over a couple of months since I wrote in here. Things have been very busy.
My client project was going pretty well and pretty fast for a while, although in the past few days things have slowed down. I'm due to wrap up by the end of this month, and I'm fairly certain they won't extend my contract again. I'll miss the income, and it was nice to work with old acquantainces again.
I spent some time yesterday passively scanning the web for new contract work. I found some interesting possibilities in database and data warehousing. The only Perl things I found required knowing Korean and Japanese. No clue what the work was about....
