I should be ashamed: I'm counting down the days to when this contract ends. This one was truly the nadir of all the projects I've worked on in the past dozen years.
The prospect of leaving has actually re-energized me, and I've gone back to working on my for-fun projects at home. When I first pulled one of them up, I realized what a mess I'd left: files called ".bak" and ".old", copies of files in different directories, the same code in two different files, all kinds of junk.
