Funny stuff?

Since yesterday, it seems like I've seen a lot of journal comments here moderated "funny". I know my sense of humor is not the same as most people, but I fail to see how comments like "Yes, I agree with you" or questions asking "Are you sure?" can be considered even slightly humorous.

Is there a new bug in Slashcode, or is it some sort of moderator conspiracy? Do we have "weapons of mass moderation" on the loose?

Not completely un-humorous

While the post as a whole is just a question and not all that humorous, the final quote is, so maybe that's what the moderators were thinking of when they moderated.

BTW, I was referring to that reply you referenced

I own up

It was me. I had moderator access and there really aren't enough comments on use.perl for moderator to be useful, so I picked random comments and moderated them all funny.

I hoped to spread some joy in the world. Did I succeed?

If I had mod points, I would give your comment +1, Honest. ;-)

And yes, it did give me a few minutes away from thinking about client problems, and the next contract, and the impending war in the middle east, and .... So an additional +1, Distraction.

I wish I could use those little smiley-face icons, but Slash won't let me use <img> tags....
