Pie Documents

A few notes on your "note to self":
  • You didn't use any namespaces. When I process your document, how am I supposed to know that your <Pie> element isn't the same as my (hypothetical) <Pie>?
  • The DTD is nice, but where's the XML Schema for your document? How am I supposed to access the PSVI?
  • Do you have a default stylesheet for this document? How am I supposed to know how to render this in a browser? Surely you don't want the default behavior -- ignore all the tags and concatenate all of the text together.
  • Can I get a specification for your document type? What is the expected semantic behavior of the <Pie> tag? What is the expected format of the #PCDATA child elements of <Pie>?
  • What version of the "Pie" vocabulary does this represent? Will future versions of the "Pie" vocabulary retain backwards compatability with this release?
  • Is this a standards track XML format? If so, which standards body will ratify this as a standard?
  • I represent a Miniscule Software company. We would like to contribute some of our vast expertise to improve this "Pie" vocabulary. Do you have a mailing list set up to discuss these issues? Our software engineers, legal team and IP group will be contacting you shortly.
  • Does your "Pie" vocabulary support C#?
  • Where can I find a CPAN module to process this format?
  • I can't read iso-8859-1 encoded documents. Can you provide your document in UTF-8 instead? Thanks.

Ziggy even if the moderators don't get your dry humor, I do. Funny.
